37signals New Highrise Site
I love the new look of the promo site 37signals recently released for their take on CRM, I use the product to track my conversations and emails with clients and prospects and love it. It takes little time to set up and is super easy to import contacts from other databases or from an excel spreadsheet. I have used other CRM software and most of them try to do everything for everyone and fail because the end user doesn't have the time or discipline to use all of the features baked into the software and thus the results come up short of the expectations. Learn more about the product and what others are saying about Highrise here.
They also have several other excellent products including their flagship project management application Basecamp and Backpack an easy intranet/information organizer.

Animoto
Downloaded this cool Iphone application today and I am impressed after making my first video. The application allows you to choose up to 16 photos and a song from a list provided and it renders a video combining the two to form a cool mini movie. The application is free for mini movies via their basic account and you can make longer videos with their personal and business accounts ranging from $3 per video to $249 for an unlimited business account. The application works on your computer, Iphone and via a Facebook application. Check them out at http://animoto.com.
Negroponte and OLPC
Ran across this video today of Nicholas Negroponte talking about the OLPC initiative. Negroponte is one of the true thought leaders over the past 25 years and this initiative is pretty impressive...I wish them all the success and encourage everyone who can to support this cause.
Connect The Dots
The NYT does a nice job presenting Blago's Web of Influence in this link.
